My Home Office Journey

My fascination with home office design, ergonomics, and aesthetics began a couple of decades back when I found myself working from home.

Unexpectedly.

I was in the gig economy, then it became my FT job. Self-employed so there were no specialists to tell me what gear worked best for what. It was a try-it-and-see journey.

Over the years, I’ve had different desk styles, seats (each tried with different cushions), worked with a PC setup (the old-style towers), a laptop, and the two of them paired. Now I find the laptop and PC monitor hooked up to be the handy dual screen setup at the desk, that can be untethered to work on the laptop when and where needed.
